THE BEST

The best teacher is experience
The best student is attempt
The best book is life
The best food is thought
The best dress is smile
The best shelter is truth
The best medicine is laughter
The best relation is love

MOTHER OF MINE

Sweet mother of mine,
You gave me life,
You gave me happiness
Much more than words could ever say,

Sweet mother of mine,
You taught me the good things,
You guided me in all my ups and downs,
You helped me to understand the world.

VALUE OF TIME

To realize the value of 1 year, ask a student who has failed in the exam.

To realize the value of 1 month, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of 1 week, ask the weekly editor.

To realize the value of 1 day, ask a daily wage earner.

To realize the value of 1 hour, ask the lover who is waiting to meet.

To realize the value of 1 minute, ask the person who has missed his train.

To realize the value of 1 second, ask a person who has survived an accident.

To realize the value of 1 mille-second, ask a person who has missed the gold medal in Olympic.

MY BEST FRIEND

You are easy to remember,
Very hard to forget,
I still remember,
The moment we met,
The days have gone by,
But memories are warm,
I still remember your face,
Your sweet smile and friendly charm,
You are some one who knows how to share,
Happiness and good things around you,
You have given such richness to this life
That words could never express
You have built the kind of trust and respect that
Makes friendship, a lasting one,
I still remember the moment.
When we are walking,
When we are laughing,
Many time I thought that you can forget me,
But never can I, because you can't love me,
As deeply as I do,
You are the one, who has made my life,
Brighter and happier and you deserve to know,
First how grateful I am to call you 'FRIEND'
But tomorrow when we depart,
The leaves of memory will tall one by one,
I'll, take them all and keep them,
In my book of friendship where they will remain,
Fresh and untouched by the dust of this cruel world.

Onsite

The pressure was heavy, the schedule was tight,

Slogged like a dog, tested with all might,

Worked through the day, sat late in the night,

But for me, there is no onsite in sight…

She meets me for coffee, she catches up for a bite,

As I write this stupid poem, she is packing for her third long flight,

What did I do wrong, that she did right?

Why for me, there is no onsite in sight…

Want to climb the Eiffel, see Paris from that height,

Want to see the felled Berlin wall sipping beer light,

Want to bet that dollar as I see Vegas by the night,

Unfortunately for me, there is no onsite in sight…

Talked to my boss, with her I had a fight,

But she earns too much to understand my plight,

Now I don't work that hard, I take it light,

Because for me, there is no onsite in sight…

The future is dark, it ain't bright,

Life is routine, office bus I will board and alight,

Stay offshore and test byte by byte,

For me, there is no onsite in sight…
